What's the most fun thing about being a real estate agent? The satisfaction I get when I connect my clients with precisely the right home for them! Yes, those are all cliche's, but they're true!
I started my real estate career late in life. I have a background in small business, big business, and corporate business. Mostly, I was in the business of serving customers. My educational background is in Home Economics, with a major in interior design. All this experience serves me well in my role as your realtor.
As your Listing Agent, I use comparative market analysis to determine the optimal price range for your home, at which point then YOU decide what we list it for. I guide you through the documents you need to collect and produce for a buyer. I make recommendations as to how to best "show" your property so it stands out from the rest, and how to "stage it" so it gives the very best first impression. I advertise your property to over 5000 Calgary realtors, many of whom will, in turn, show your property on their personal websites. I review offers to purchase with you and negotiate on your behalf. I monitor condition dates to ensure your sale goes from pending to SOLD.
As your Buyer's Agent, I set up a Home Match System that filters the many properties in Calgary to help me find exactly what you're looking for. Tools on my website enable you to search the Multiple Listing Service yourself if you wish, giving you access to information such as addresses and days on the market, which is not available on the public MLS site. My website is up-dated hourly!
Once you've found a home you want to buy, I assist you in writing the terms of the purchase. I negotiate on your behalf. I can assist you in finding the professionals you need for financing, property inspections, appraisals if necessary, and document inspection.
In either role, my fiduciary duties to you as your Agent are loyalty, confidentiality, and full disclosure of all relevant facts affecting the transaction.
